Brasil planea disponer de 20 submarinos convencionales y 6 nucleares/ Brazilian Navy plans a fleet of 20 subs, six nuclear powered



La Armada de Brasil planea construir e incorporar a su flota submarinos, hasta un total de 20 convencionales y hasta 6 de propulsión nuclear, lo que la convertiría en la Armada con mas poder disuasorio de Sudamérica.
Se espera que gran parte de la tecnología sea transferida desde los astilleros DCNS franceses.

The Brazilian navy is planning to build and incorporate in the next decades a fleet of six nuclear powered and 20 conventional submersibles (15 new and five refurbished), making it the most dissuasive fleet of South America.
The first is always the dearest because of technology transfer and other capacities costs that must be paid to the French DCNS shipyard
However the costs of the following subs to be built in Brazil are estimated by the Brazilian Navy in 550 million US dollars
